Anti-buckling energy-consuming steel plate wall refers to a steel plate shear wall that will not undergo out-of-plane buckling. It is composed of a steel plate core material that bears horizontal loads and components that prevent the core material from out-of-plane buckling. It is designed for ordinary steel plate shear forces. It is a new type of shear-resistant, shock-absorbing and energy-consuming component that is improved because the wall is prone to out-of-plane buckling. It mainly relies on the overall in-plane bending and shear deformation of the core plate to balance the horizontal shear force. As a core lateral force-resistant member, it prevents the core material from buckling outside the plane, so that the steel plate wall will only undergo shear yielding without buckling, which greatly improves its seismic resistance. At the same time, the out-of-plane restraint panels can also be used as fire protection for steel plate walls. The anti-buckling energy-dissipating steel plate wall only has the core material connected to the frame beams and columns, and the core material bears the load transmitted by the frame beam. The out-of-plane restraint plate only restrains the core material to prevent out-of-plane buckling of the core material.
