Lead rubber bearings are constructed by vertically inserting a lead core in the center of the rubber bearing.
Lead exhibits a notably low yield stress, approximately 7MPa, and favourable fatigue properties when subjected to plastic deformations. This unique combination allows lead rubber bearings to effectively dissipate the seismic energy, with the potential to achieve the damping ratio up to 25%.
This product is in compliance with the following standards:
