The high-damping isolation vibration-absorbing pad is an elastomer fiber composite material, which is composed of one or more fiber braided layers (covering layers), elastic rubber layers, and high-damping rubber. It is mainly used in the field of rail transit. It is placed between the roadbed and track bed of rail transit to absorb the mechanical vibration caused by wheel-rail impact and reduce noise.
The principle of high-damping rubber pads is to completely isolate them between the superstructure (tracks, building floors, etc.) and the foundation, and use the flexible characteristics of the material to change the vibration characteristics of the entire structure to isolate and attenuate the vibration generated by train operation. Vibration, and its high damping characteristics can be used to improve structural resonance phenomena.
